Chances are, you have no idea if your left wrist is flat at the top or if it's cupped, pronated, or flat at the top.
This is not your fault, of course, it's just that you have no way of knowing if you have the correct
position of the wrists at the top. And that's probably why you need to take lessons from a pro in the first place, because they'll know if you have the correct wrist position.
And there is only one correct position, i.e the left wrist should be in at the top of the backswing - FLAT.
