OK!!! juz surfed lelong.com.my & there r a few sets up 4 "lelong" ... but me being a newbie in the world of golfing probably need all the sifus advise...

1. Taylor Made Golf Club Tour Preferred 3-PW Iron Set (8 Irons) - asking for RM900/=
2. Golf (Full Wilson Ultra Iron Set) Very Immaculate 9/10 - asking for RM650/=
3. Honma AP-301 MRS Golf Set - asking for RM750/=
4. LYNX Golf Iron Set & HONMA Golf Bag for Sale - asking for RM399/=
5. Mizuno Professional used iron golf set (TF-Pro 149) - asking for RM1,300/=

So which one?

well, mizuno, taylor made irons are the famous and common ones.  both sounds like pro irons but shd not be that bad (only that people may think that you are pro when you are only a begineer!). i figured that it is good to start with these type of irons (harder to strike but once you get the feel, they are the best). in terms of the price, sometime when you wait a little longer, the price may be reduced but if you are not lucky someone else grab it first.
you make the decision that fit your budget.  if you purchase either of these irons, you can use them for long as they are quality irons.

exactly.  when i first started, i purchased dunlop complete set for i think around 600 and used it until one iron was broken. then i figured i shd have bought good 2nd hand set right from the beginning because it took time for me to adapt to a good irons (after got stuck with the dunlop irons). good 2nd hand can be kept for a long time

i cant comment on wilson or honma as i have not experienced hitting with them. anyway, select one you like, nego the price but dont expect too big reduction as these items are non-rotten items ... golfers normally like to keep the irons unless if they already have too many...or the wife makes noises!! ha ha
