Well, Zellafo, FYI I myself used to own Kawasaki VN750 and EN500. I was not a golfer yet then. Reason for riding big bike:
1. Safer because brake system is just like expensive cars (BMW, Merc) and you ride on fast lane on the hiway so you don't have to squeeze yourself among the other small bikes in the emergency lane. Prior to riding big bikes, I involved in xcdent 3x in the emergency lane.
2. If you own an expensive continental car, then these big bikers share the same feelings as yours when you drive your machines.
3. Most big bikers do not play golf. Even if they do, may be for business purposes, to entertain their customers on weekdays. coz on weekends, they ride all over the country in groups.
4. For those bikers higher up on the corporate ladder, they might be able to enjoy both, bikes and golfs. but for those who passion for big bikes they cannot afford to enjoy both. Big bikes are expensive to maintain, just like maintaining a BMW or Merc or Volvo. The rear tyre wears out sooner than the front one, about 15000km and each cost at least RM800. Routine oil change cost at least RM400. Their riding suits cost more than RM1000!
