Last Saturday.... went to visit my eldest daughter at Kuala Pilah Matriculation College.... fetched her and went for a round of golf at KGDRSM with another daughter.... Huhuhu
Had so far only heard from others that KGDRSM is a tough course.... caya laa bro.... baru last week I experienced.
If not for distance, KGDRSM is definitely a good course for training...
- narrow fairways
- impossible-to-find-lost-ball roughs
- a couple scary T-boxes in the 2nd nine (fronting narrow, long valleys full of jungle trees),
- and what not.....
should provide lots of fun and good challenges, provided you are prepared to lose lots of balls though... hehehe.
Plus point, the course is unbelievably quite even on weekend... so no hurry at all.
Maybe, MFG would like to consider having next monthly golf get-2-gether at KGDRSM? hehehe
If not, I am willing to try KGDRSM again with other willing Kakigolfers... what say you brothers?

In that case, maybe we could play Era Golf first in the evening and then check into Desa Inn Kuala Pilah, play Seri Menanti the next morning... then drive back to KL.
Reason? Closer to drive to KL from Seri Menanti than from Bahau hehehe

One thing that I noticed at the KGDRSM when I played there (weekend) was the low traffic. So, you can find yourself in the middle of a narrow valley of jungles hitting the small ball alone. It was lonely if not scary. There was also the altitude par 3 where you hit the ball at a higher level and the green was several metres down guarded by water. That was a challenge. Anyway, with other kakigolfers I am ON with the suggestion of a circuit made up of ERA and KGDRSM. We can always dip our tired body at Ulu Bendul on the way back to KL.

Pro pro KakiGolfers semua, I am thinking to plan for this Era/Seri Menanti outing on 18th and 19th, but not sure all will agree bcoz Pro Zoez and Sepol dah plan for a northern trip on the 11th and 12th.
Why 18th n 19th? Coz my daughter will start her semester break on 20th July... so I can pick her up from her college on the same weekend la hehehe. My family will check into Desa Inn while we are in Bahau so if anyone thinking the same, we can plan some outing for them too. Like, I have thought of spending some quality family time at Ulu Bendul as suggested by Pak Akhir after our Seri Menanti leg.
Any taker? Let me know what do you think.

As PDGCC member, I got a discounted rate (but need to check again how much) but for the rest it would be walk-in rate.
The easiest way to go to Seri Menanti without the hassle of Seremban traffic, from PLUS Highway, exit at Senawang Toll and go all the way until you find a junction to Kuala Pilah. Turn right and go all the way until you see KGDRSM signboard as explained by Zainol.
