19 year-old Yuka Saso of the Philippines won the U.S Women's Open on Sunday after beating Nasa Hataoka of Japan in a playoff. Both players had parred on the two aggregate playoffs holes before Saso’s 10-foot birdie putt helped her edge out Hataoka.
Saso's win tied her with Inbee Park as the youngest champion in the tournament’s history. This is her first major win.
