GOLFING AT KELAB GOLF KINTA - 4th HARI RAYA

To those kakigolfers, relatives and friends, I am planning to have a golf game on 4th Hari Raya at Kelab Golf Kinta at Batu Gajah. Tee-off should be around 9.00 am to allow those staying around 50 km radius to arrive at the club. So, who wants to jointer please give your name:-

Tapikan, I ingat kalau Liza bola confirm yg dia akan pakai suwa putih and weather forecast pun dok kata akan ujan pada ari tu ... ramai kot yg akan sahut seruan Liza utk bergolof kat Melaka ...

OK, golfing at Kelab Golf Kinta is ON. Wednesday 23/9/2009 tee-off around 9.00 am.

This morning ada sorang lagi call nak jointer, tapi kita dah penuh by yesterday. Sorry yer.............lain kali.

Wednesday 23/9, Viosyah and me ended our one month abstain from golfing in view of the fasting month. We, the visitors/muhajirin were accompanied by the local/ansar of Pakudin and his friend (Rosti??). The course was Kinta Golf Club (KGC) in Batu Gajah, Perak.

KGC reminded me of Kundang Lake GC albeit with bigger water challenges. Fairway was tight requiring you to hit straigh most of the time. This is understandable since KGC was originally a 9 hole course but converted to 18 holes within more or less the same space upon the request of HRH The Sultan of Perak who has a strong attachment with Batu Gajah. There was even one par-4 hole (hole 3) where you have to hit over a triangle to reach the green. Imagine the tee-box and green are on a straight line, but because of trees, rough and OB rule, you have to hit out first, then hit back towards a sloping green. The course is fair and Pakudin, Visyah and me uninamously agree that kakigolf should consider KGC as one venue for its G2G. The drawback maybe is the golf terrace, no caddy and mostly rely on DIY.

Since, this was our first game after puasa, the objective was to get back the rythm. Pakudin unfortunately have a back sprain after playing at Clearwater Sanctuary the day before. Anyway, our appreciation for turning up and playing a few holes despite the setback. Viosyah is an up and coming buaya. Watch out for this guy. He said just picked up golf over two month and even that on borrowed set, but he definitelt is sharpening his teeth. Thank you Viosyah for willing to drive 100+ kilometres from Bidor to join us and after the game return to KL. Pakudin friend is a local kaki, know the course like the back of his hand. Thank you Rosti (I hope I get your name right) for bearing with us and letting us know the course topography. And finally, yours trully playing in the spirit of hepi2. Always misreading where the green are especially on the above said hole 3.

We are back in business of hitting the small white ball around. Give us a call when you need a ball...........

very well description for Kinta Golf Club...the 1st & ever i played in Perak...

oh yea...very sad to see pakudin with his back-hip injured...
still managed to play slow & steady...
slowly2 tee-off (including 3 of us) sampai semua bola masuk tasek (i forgot what hole no it was)...

Aduhai Pak Akhir...!!! where does this term 'buaya' comes from me?
saya belum layak jadik buaya Pak Akhir...
cuma layak untuk di'buaya'kan sahaja skrg ini...
everything that i mentioned is true actually...
how come i sharpened my teeth within 1 whole month puasa without golfing?
i wonder lah....

very well outing we have on that day...very freindly outing....we really enjoyed our game even it was a really-really hot day (my skin in sunburned now)...

Pak Ngah, except for this weekend, I will be available for island, mountain, lake, whatever golfing. This weekend busy sebab organising my daughter's engagement on 26/9 at Seri Iskandar, Perak. I heard her father-in-law (my besan) and grandfather-in-law to be are both very keen golfers with the later being a single handicapper. Both of them are are homegrown from being residence in plantations that have golf courses macam Kg Kuantan lah ....

Apa island golfing tu, main kat Bintan and Batam ke Pulau Carey?
