Viosyah,
My criteria for the card is the payback period that is, how fast is your saving (actual walk-in rate minus dicount rate) to equal your investment (card fee). The faster the payback time the better. If you play regularly and on weekdays then this criteria can be met easily. Kalau you weekend player maybe need a bit longer time for the payback. This also relate to the card fee which ranges from RM300 - RM700.
Next, the club list in which the more reputable clubs the better.
Lepas tu the add-on such as the handicap maintenance with MGA, discount at golf outlets/stores and overseas affiliation. AGN was popular some time back because of its club list, handicap and Indonesian clubs affiliation. Sekarang AGN only so so sebab the overseas clubs dah merosot.
For clubs with local courses, AGS seemed to have a bit of an edge against GLI. SSG on the other hand manage some of the courses themself e.g. Danau, Beruntung etc. Like Ahman say, every card has its merits and demerits. But if you golf real frequent, any card will do.
