akhirnya, after all this time.. saya bertemu juga dengan Pak Kamal, Pak Zoe dan Pak Yamin..
main bersama di Bogor Raya, tanpa Pak Yamin yang sedang sakit (ke indo kok malah sakit).. saya main kacau sekali, lemes gara-gara paginya main juga..
hari berikutnya main lagi di Permata Sentul.. sayang kita tidak bisa finish 18 holes.. next trip lah kita atur lagi ya bros...

These KakiGolf members had had their centralised training overseas just like other national sportsmen. So, beware of their sharpness and skill at Maran Hill on 15/8. But, don't worry they cannot handle local courses, what more without their ever smiling sweet caddies. You know why Indonesia never have a pro golfer like our Danny Chia? Coz all caddies have done the work for them. Just follow what the caddies say. I don't know how true it is. To Indonesian golfers friends reading this, no pun intended. Just yang penting hepi.

 .... It was nice to finally meet up with you... Thank you for the warm hospitality!! We sincerely appreciate the trouble you took to join us for another round of 18 holes at Bogor Raya, even after you've done 18 holes at Sentul Highlands .... Rushing to Bogor Raya straight after Sentul Highlands, skipping lunch and stopping by somewhere to buy cigarettes for us ..... Man!!! Great hospitality....

And the Satay Kambing dinner at Bogor after our Permata Sentul golfing .... was superb to say the least!!!

Bro!!! Do give us a holla whenever you're down here in KL .... But your hospitality to not easy to match though!!! Thanks again!!!  ;)

I think its more of the fact that golf is still a privy of the privileged few there (i.e the upper class and the upper middle class). Unlike here where the game has become affordable and has reached the working masses.... So there, golf still remains very much a social game rather than a competitive sports ... I'm pretty sure if more are able to play golf, they have the numbers to produce good players.

But for argument sake, how come Thailand, or India for that matter, has way, way, way better pro golfers than us? .... Don't think it has anything to do with caddies ...

This was where we stayed in Jakarta this time around. A very spacious, full facilities 4+1 bedroom house with a 52" satellite TV... Located somewehere in Jakarta Selatan I think, gated community & 24-hours security ...
