Interesting topic and quite coincidentally that you should post a thread on "Cross-Handed Putting!

I actually have been trying this "cross-handed" style of putting a couple of times recently but ... without much success tho' ( but even my conventional type of putting grip sucks big time ...hehehe!!!)... So I think I'll just stick to my earlier style of putting grip 

Anyway!!! From my very very limited knowledge, I understand that not many, even the pros, are using this type of grip... Only a few and Jim Furyk is one of the few crossed-handed putter and he has won the US Open ( a major ) and several PGA titles ( then again come to think of it even Jim Furyk's swing is unorthodox  )... So I guess at the end of the day ..its personal ... its about what suits you ...

I actually just switched to a cross-handed putting grip and it really helped me a lot.

I found that my putting stroke was a lot less wristy, but it will take a while to get a feel for distance. A little time on the practice greens took care of this.

I think because my right hand is dominant, and the cross-handed grip kind of takes the right hand out of the equation.

Give it a chance ..... I haven't gone back to a traditional grip yet!

I also switched to cross-hand this year and it made me a better putter.

It may feel a little bit funny at first but you feel a lot in control especially those short putts. Saving 2 or 3 strokes a round makes a lot of difference when you tally up your score in the end.

Try it guys! It's definitely not a quick fix and takes getting use to but I will play this way for the rest of my life.
